About amichan.net DESIGNS pppp
ami-chan.net DESIGNS began as Cerulean Cat Web Design (on ceruleansoul.com) in February of 2005. I have, however, been designing websites since 2000, as a hobby I became interested in, while I was in college.

I pride myself in offering simple to understand design help for small businesses, non-profit organizations and your own personal websites. I pride myself on being personable and working with you and getting to know you to make sure that the site meets your needs and works for you. I want the things I design and build to work for you just as much as you do, and be one that you'll be happy to look at and interact with for months and years to come.

I also pride myself on professional quality work at affordable prices. I'm willing to negotiate and barter so that you can get something that works for you, and I will keep you up to date with the process step by step so that you know how things are coming and so that things can be changed if necessary if I'm going in a direction that you don't like. I don't want to put blue on the design if you can't stand blue, or put an effect on the design which makes you uncomfortable.

The longest it's taken me to get a design to someone even with communicating back and forth every step of the way is two weeks, and that was because I broke my elbow and couldn't use the computer for about a week. On average I can turn around within three days, but if there's going to be a delay I will let you know A.S.A.P.

About 'Ami-chan' or 'Cat' pppp
I'm a stay-at-home mother who does webdesign, among other things, to earn extra money to help out our household. The nickname Cat (used in Cerulean Cat Web Design) comes from my middle name Catriona, which I tend to use more than my first name particularly in online circles. The nickname 'Ami-chan' is from the Japanese TV show Sailor Moon, and has been one of my longest standing nicknames. When the opportunity arose to get the web domain ami-chan.net I seized upon it, not wanting to regret passing up on the opportunity.

I'm self-taught, anything that I can do I've learned through tutorials, late nights staring cross-eyed at the computer screen and trial and error (the good old-fashioned way). Because of this I can offer a very straight-forward approach to web design, forgoing a lot of the technical jargon and with easy ways to explain to you if needs be.
